It's doupolistic! CenturyLink follow up

Tell me I'm right, without telling me I am right šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

After almost 30 days of the CenturyLink FCC team being notified by the FCC, I got a response, with a letter. They are still pleading ignorance on the Price for Life plan, just like support. However, they claim to have found previous communication where I was led to believe I was on some kind of agreement where my price wouldn't ever go up šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø This was likely a conversation I recall with a gentleman years ago who assured me my price will not go up when I bumped up the fiber speed BECAUSE I'M ON THE PRICE FOR LIFE PLAN.

Had them furnish a second letter stating a rate in writing of $65 a month, which took another 15 days. The original response letter neglected to state a rate, and the FCC thought my ask was totally reasonable. Both letters state if I ever change anything at all on my account, need service, etc., they will take me off this plan.

As of summer 2023, they dropped my price to $55 a month. No one at support will tell me why they did this, but at least it's been several months of this lower price now, and without the price going over $65. Perhaps middle or upper management relented on this boondoggle of denying the Price for Life ever existed? Who knows? At least the product itself is good, so long as I don't have to deal with customer service ever again šŸ™‚
